Reynolds-Phillips Residence

Santa Fe, New Mexico

The Owners were conflicted about a decision to leave the place they loved to build a new house elsewhere which could more suitably address their needs.  They realized it would be impossible to replicate the setting they enjoyed in their current location; so we came up with a plan to address obvious negatives of the place, add space, and change the flow of use.  We converted the existing Living Room to  graciously scaled dining space, added square-footage for an upgraded Master Suite, and created a new gathering space which connected to an expanded Kitchen area.  A full-service ‘back-door’ area was introduced.  Guests are now much better positioned to enjoy the lush garden so responsible for staying in the first place.
